Dr. Gregory Wolf is a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida and the Director of the Tampa Psychology Center. He is an expert in cognitive-behavioral treatments for depression, substance abuse, and in particular anxiety disorders, including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),  Panic Disorder (PD),  Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD),  Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and specific phobias.  He completed his doctorate from Pepperdine University (APA Accredited) and graduated with honors in clinical psychology, completing his clinical internship at the Miami VA Medical Center.  He is one of only a few psychologists in Florida who have received advanced training in treatments for OCD and PTSD at the University of Pennsylvania, Center for the Study and Treatment of Anxiety.

He has extensive clinical experience working with various trauma survivors including domestic violence, combat, sexual assault, childhood abuse, natural catastrophes, genocide, and motor vehicle accidents.  He served as OIF/OEF clinical coordinator for the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Clinic (PCT) at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center. He developed a “state of the art” clinic for combat veterans returning  from Iraq and Afghanistan, by expanding evening hours, incorporating evidence based therapies, and providing more comprehensive services to family members.  He received the prestigious honor of being selected by the National Center for PTSD to serve as a national consultant to train VA mental health professionals in the clinical practice of Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy.  He is an active member of several international societies (i.e. American Psychological Association, Division 56 Trauma Psychology (APA); The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS)Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA)  dedicated to improving the quality of care provided to patients and furthering our understanding of psychological issues through ethical research.

He also provides a range of assessments and psychological testing to answer common referral questions related to intellectual and cognitive functioning (IQ Testing), learning disorders, academic achievement, ADHD, PTSD, personality, diagnostic, personal injury, worker's compensation, and forensic evaluations.  He has extensive experience in conducting a variety of assessments with children, adolescents, and adults and has published several articles related to assessment issues with regard to “complex PTSD”.  He has experience working with diverse clientele and was fortunate to receive specialized training in clinical assessments and interventions while working at Los Angeles County University of Southern California (LAC-USC) Children’s Hospital and the West Los Angeles VA/UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital (Neuropsychology Rotation).
